New American Eagle Varmint & Predator loads feature reloadable brass and Federal primers with a jacketed hollow point or Tipped Varmint bullet, depending on caliber. Both designs expand explosively on impact for maximum lethality.

Over a dollar a round plus shipping for 22-250! That ain’t saving me money, but I only shoot bench-rest. with a tight necked chamber which generally increases the life of good brass 5-10 times. Buying bullets & other consumables in bulk saves a lot on hand-loading also, especially if you only buy when you see sale prices.
I also have the satisfaction of knowing exactly what I’m shooting at all times. For those that have money to spare & no time for hand-loading , I can see why they might prefer to buy factory ammo. 22 Rimfire is the only factory ammo I’ve shot since 1970. Fortunately for me I also have a friend with a FFL who’ll sell to me at cost plus shipping.
